Workshop on Future Skills for
Sustainable Development and
Call for Ideas for Sustainability Innovation Challenge
IHCFSI is delighted to announce the one-day workshop titled
“Future Skills for Sustainable Development”.
The workshop series has been successfully conducted in multiple locations across Maharashtra, and the remaining event will be held in Latur.
Current Status: Mumbai, Nagpur, Pandharpur, Pune, and Sambhajinagar workshops completed successfully.

About the Centre of Excellence
The Centre of Excellence is a strategic, multi-functional platform that accelerates sustainability-driven transformation through skill development, research, entrepreneurship, ecosystem engagement, and real-world problem solving.
By combining capacity building, innovation, and collaborative partnerships, the Centre aims to translate sustainability ambitions into measurable impact through skill and knowledge development, translational research, innovation and incubation, and research fellowships.
About the Workshop
A one-day workshop on “Future Skills for Sustainable Development” is designed to equip undergraduate students of all disciplines with exposure to sustainability and opportunities for skill development in the sustainability domain.
About the Call for Ideas
As part of the workshop, IHCFSI invites student teams to submit innovative, practical, and scalable solutions addressing some of today’s most pressing sustainability challenges.

Guidelines
Please review the following guidelines carefully before submitting your idea.
Team Composition
Each team must consist of at least 3 and no more than 4 students.
Interdisciplinary teams are encouraged.
A team may have one faculty mentor in an advisory role.
Submission Requirements
Each team must submit a 2-page write-up describing the following:
Problem statement
Novelty
Proposed innovation / solution
Sustainability impact
Implementation approach
Incubation potential
General Rules
Submissions must be original work of the participating students.
Plagiarism or AI-generated content without proper referencing will lead to disqualification.
The decision of IHCFSI and the evaluation panel will be final and binding.
Awards
First Prize – ₹10,000
Second Prize – ₹5,000
The top two teams will receive cash prizes along with certificates.
